TAIDA

The TAIDA method of scenario planning breaks the research process into five phases:

  • Tracking: trace and describe changes that affect the focal question.
  • Analyzing: analyze changes and generate scenarios.
  • Imaging: gathering insights about plausible futures. Create images of what is desired.
  • Deciding: identify strategies to meet threats and achieve goals.
  • Acting: Plans don't carry out themselves. Make it happen.
