Responsibility = Freedom
As soon as you take ownership of something, that thing falls under your control. This means you can act on it and change it. If you don't like something, take responsibility for it and change it, rather than waiting for others to do so.
The inverse is also true. Freedom = Responsibility. When given freedom, you have the responsibility to understand how not to abuse it.
