Ok, the name is kind of a joke, but as diplomas become more and more devalued, a certificate instead of an education, it will become more and more important to prove yourself in other ways.
What is a diploma anyway? It's just somebody who is trusted saying you learned something. In the past we had to rely on a piece of paper. Now, we can live in a more information-transparent society. You can do better than a piece of paper. You can show, instead of tell.
So why a wiki? Because Blogs Are For Teaching Wikis Are For Learning.
So what about all the awkward stuff that has to happen to learn? Won't your (potential) employer see that?
